I believe you should keep more of your tax dollars.  It is your money, not the federal governments! 

That is why I: 

·        Voted to eliminate the Marriage Penalty Tax. 

·        Voted to eliminate the “Death Tax”. 

·        Voted to eliminate the Alternative Minimum Tax that effects the middle class. 

·        Voted to lower the Capital Gain Tax 

·        Voted to increase the annual limit on IRA contributions from $2,000 to $5,000, and allows catch-up options for older workers. 

·        Voted for provisions that would extend tax deferral on prepaid tuition programs to include private universities. 

·        Voted to allow small businesses and farmers to deduct up to $25,000 of the cost of business related equipment. 

·        Voted to eliminate the 3% excise tax on phone service that was implemented to fun the Spanish-American War. 

·        Voted to increase the contribution limits to Individual Retirement Accounts 

·        Voted to repeal the tax on Social Security Earnings 

·        Voted to double the Child Tax Credit and Increase the Adoption Tax Credit 

·        Voted to lower taxes for ALL taxpayers in ALL tax brackets! 

·        AND I have consistently voted to extend these tax cuts. 

I not only want to keep your taxes low, I also support reforming the entire tax code, which is longer than the Bible!  I support reforming the IRS, and the idea of a “Flat Tax.”  We waste too much time figuring out our taxes and filling out paperwork.  It’s time to inject some common sense into taxation issues. 

You should also know the current Majority in Congress has many new programs they want to create.  To pay for them, they have plans to increase taxes on Americans by $3.5 Trillion, over the next 10 years!  I am fighting this plan, and will continue to fight tax increases such as this.
